Instructions for loading the Loronix Wavelet multimedia driver:
Contact Loronix Technical support at 1-888-201-6122 if you have questions.

Windows 2000
 
  • Download Wavecodec2000.zip (75kb) and extract to a directory on your hard drive.
  • From the Start menu, select Settings, Open Control Panel
  • Select 'Add New/Remove Hardware'
  • Click on 'Next' at the wizard Welcome window
  • Select 'Add/Troubleshoot a device,' click 'Next'
  • It will search for new devices
  • Select 'Add a new device,' click 'Next'
  • Choose 'No, I want to select the hardware from a list' and click on 'Next'
  • Select 'Sound, video, and game controllers' and click on 'Next'
  • Click on 'Have Disk', then 'Browse' to the directory where you extracted the Wavecodec2000 files, click OK.
  • click OK again to load the file.
  • Click on 'Yes' at the Digital Signature warning window to continue the installation.
  • The "Loronix Wavelet Codec" will be selected. Click 'Next'
  • Click 'Next' at the Start Hardware Installation window.
  • Click 'Yes' if you receive another Digital Signature warning window.
  • Click on Finish when the installation is complete.
  • Click on 'Yes' to reboot.
Windows NT
 
  • Download WavecodecNT.zip (75kb) and extract to a directory on your hard drive.
  • From the Start menu, select Settings, Open Control Panel
  • Select 'Multimedia'
  • Choose the Devices window tab
  • Click 'Add' to add a new device
  • Select 'Unlisted or Updated driver', then 'Browse' and to the directory where you extracted the WavecodecNT files, click on 'OK'
  • Select "Loronix Wavelet Codec" and click 'OK'
Windows 98 & 95
 
  • Download Wavecodec95.zip (75kb) and extract to a directory on your hard drive.
  • From the Start menu, select Settings, Open Control Panel
  • Select 'Add New Hardware'
  • Click on 'Next'
  • Choose 'No' for allowing Windows to search for your new hardware and click on 'Next'
  • Select 'Sound, video, and game controllers' and click on 'Next'
  • Click on 'Have Disk', then 'Browse' to the directory where you extracted the Wavecodec95 files, click OK.
